‘P R E S E N C E  A N D  A B S E N C E ’

This series explores the fragmented nature of awareness in the digital age, where physical and virtual realities intersect. Inspired by contemporary behavioral trends, the insurrection of memory into reality, and the interplay between presence and absence, I recreate memories in new contexts using a reduced color palette. This emphasizes human disconnection from physical space and time, inviting viewers to reflect on the shifting boundaries between the real and the imagined. The works invite questions on the impact of technology on our perception of the world, echoing themes of the need to contemplate on inner wisdom as explored in my sculptural series 'Transcending'.

LARGE CANVASES - WIDE BRUSH STROKES

Large canvases are painted with flat brushes 50-200 mm wide with liberal applications of paint and medium, while their counterpart panels are painted with pallet knives and heavy impasto, reducing ilustration to minimum while adding essential raw quality to the works.
