SCULPTURE

The Bull is a recurring theme in my work, and I've explored it in many pieces and many mediums over the years. In this series of works, the Bull figure is a basic part of composition giving the anchor point to the human figure which adds to the dynamics. The theme explores the relationship between humans and nature, touching on social and psychological aspects. Geometry plays a key role in my work, helping to create balance and guide the viewer's eye. This approach allows me to work on both large and small scale, using each to balance the other. It is closely related to my ‘Acrobats’ and ‘Bull-Drawings’ series, as well as the series of paintings that can be seen on the page ‘Acrobat and Bull’.
